The case holds a Square Reader, so it needs a Square merchant connected to Summon. Tap to Pay doesn't work on tablets — on an iPad, take cards with the reader.
How it works with Summon

Order the case from Square
Square sells and ships the case. The iPad and the Square Reader are sold separately.

Attach the reader
Fit your iPad into the case and clip the Square Reader onto the back with the included adapter.

Pair the reader with Summon
Turn on Card reader for your location's Square merchant in the Summon dashboard, then pair the reader from Card readers in the Summon app on the iPad.

Take payment at the car
Guests insert or tap on the reader on the back of the iPad. Summon records the payment on the ticket and sends the guest their receipt.
